I woke up this morning expecting to link to a column on one of two news items. Then I saw former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor had died and now it’s not even worth specifying those bits of news. I’ve linked to a straightforward article detailing O’Connor’s life and accomplishments. I’m sure plenty of editorials on her career will be forthcoming (I can’t imagine any will be negative), but right now an objective look at her life feels most appropriate, especially for someone as no-frills and modest as she was.
