Today’s column is exactly what I’d hoped to highlight when I started One Daily Link. That’s because the author challenges an emotional orthodoxy of his own party so the party might achieve a more fundamental and consequential goal. The question, as always, is will the party’s leaders listen? It doesn’t look likely. But that doesn’t mean the party’s voters can’t. With time, maybe they can turn the leaders around.
