One of the great joys of running this website has been finding policy and legal experts who examine the news through a realistic lens rather than a political filter. The facts don’t magically align with an expert’s worldview the way they do with a pundit’s. Experts don’t care if the facts favor the left, the right, or are a mixed bag (as they so often are). They just care they have the information right. It sounds quaint, but it’s proof of how strong political commentary can be when experts (not primetime pundits masquerading as experts) are at the helm.
