While the Iowa caucuses on Monday are an important kickoff to election season, the anticipation over their results might be a bit excessive. So much of our most prominent (not to mention worst) punditry refuses to keep things in any kind of perspective, so today’s column is an analysis of past Iowa and New Hampshire winners and where their campaigns stood by the end of primary season.
