We founded One Daily Link in the hope of returning evidence-based commentary to the political discourse. While we’d argue every column we feature serves that cause, it’s hard to remember one as thoroughly sourced as today’s. The Numbers Disagree,” site favorite Bill Scher presents recent statistics showing Biden’s record on these issues isn’t as bad as the GOP would have us believe. Then Scher presents more statistics to make his case. And then even more. Seriously — it’s a lot.

Some might call the effect overwhelming, but we call it refreshing. After all, if a person wants to make a point, shouldn’t they be able to back it up with facts? This brand of heavily sourced commentary — which is Scher’s forte — should be the rule, not the exception. Until it is, we’ll be here doing whatever we can to highlight it.
