The Hamas terrorist attacks and Israel’s response have led to a lot of heated commentary. People understandably want to assign blame for such a horrifying turn of events in the region, and that’s not a bad thing as long as the assignment of blame is rooted in fact, not emotion. While today’s featured piece is emotional, it is also introspective. I’ll surely feature more columns on the conflict going forward, but today’s is a strong example of the sort of analysis the situation demands.
