I’ve avoided linking to columns about universities’ statements on Israel and Hamas because, in such a life and death conflict, should academia really be receiving so much attention? I don’t think so. At the same time, I’m linking to a column about it now because the author makes an argument I hadn’t seen yet, and it seems worth considering since this story isn’t going away anytime soon.
